What this site processes: as little as is technically possible.

Short version

This site sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking, loads no external fonts, scripts or content, and has no contact form. There are no user accounts. You can read the whole site without anything being stored about you beyond the technically necessary server logs kept by the host.

Server logs

When you request a page, your browser transmits technically necessary data that the host records: IP address, date and time, the address requested, the HTTP status code, the amount of data transferred, and — where your browser sends them — the referrer and user agent.

Purpose: delivering the site, operational security, fault diagnosis and abuse prevention.
Legal basis: overriding legitimate interest in secure operation (Art. 31(1) Swiss FADP; for visitors in the EU additionally Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Retention: the host keeps logs only as long as operation and security require, then deletes them. This data is not combined with any other source and is not used to identify individuals.

They process the log data described above as a processor on our behalf. Servers and data are located in Switzerland.

Local storage in your browser

The site stores exactly one setting in your browser's localStorage: whether you are reading in the "Private" or "Business" lens. That value stays on your device, is never sent to the server, and contains no personal data. You can clear it at any time through your browser's storage settings. It is not a cookie and needs no consent.

No third-party services

No third-party resources are loaded — no Google Fonts, no CDN, no embedded video, no social media plugins, no advertising networks. The typefaces (Barlow, SIL Open Font License) are served from this server rather than from Google Fonts, so no connection to a third party is made. External links are identifiable as such; the operators of linked sites are responsible for processing that happens there.

Your rights

You have the right to information, correction and deletion, and to receive or transfer your data (Art. 25 ff. Swiss FADP). Where GDPR applies to you, you additionally have the rights to restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15 ff. GDPR).

Write to the address above. Because this site uses no accounts, no forms and no tracking, it normally holds nothing that could be attributed to a person; in practice such requests concern the host's log data.

Complaints

You may complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC). Visitors in the EU may contact their national data protection authority.
